A Harp on Wight Festival event
Returning to the Island for the festival will be American lever harp specialist Lily Neill. Lily has established quite a reputation on the Island having appeared here no less than seven times previously - five as a soloist and twice in shared concerts with the Senegalese kora player Kadially Kouyate.
Lily's last concert here was in the 2013 Ventnor Fringe. Expect a dynamic mixture of Irish jigs and reels, Lithuanian dances, Finnish tangoes and American ragtime in addition to her high original own compositions - a combination that has enthralled audiences around the world.
Lily has a real affinity for the Island - especially for our Victorian historic buildings - and it will be a pleasure to welcome her back.
